One time, I had a car that my dad caught on fire. By the time I brought a bowl of water outside to douse it, he had mostly extinguished it. I sat the bowl down and forgot about it. I woke up the next day and found a dead mouse frozen inside it.
Joel slammed the bowl against his car, swearing the mouse would explode, but the ice only chipped and left the still image of a mouse swimming for it’s life.
